1. About BGS Security Division LLC

BGS Security Division LLC ("BGS Security," "we," "us," or "our") is a licensed security company providing alarm monitoring and security system installation to residential and commercial clients across New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. We operate in compliance with applicable state law under the following licenses:

2. Acceptance of Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Use of This Website

This website is provided for informational purposes — to describe our services, service areas, team, and how to contact us for a free security assessment. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.

You may not:

4. Services — General

Subject to applicable law, BGS Security offers two core services: alarm monitoring and security system installation. A description of each service is available on our website.

Submitting a quote request or contact form does not create a binding service agreement. All service engagements are formalized through a separate written contract or service agreement signed by both parties before any work begins.

BGS Security reserves the right to decline service to any prospective client at our sole discretion.

5. Security Assessment

We offer a free, no-obligation security assessment for qualifying residential and commercial properties in our service area (Monmouth, Middlesex, and Mercer Counties, NJ, and surrounding communities). An assessment is a professional evaluation of your property's security needs — it does not constitute an installation, monitoring agreement, or guarantee of service availability.

You agree to provide safe and lawful access to your property for the duration of any scheduled assessment. BGS Security is not responsible for delays caused by inaccessible or unsafe conditions.

6. Service Agreements

All contracted services — including alarm monitoring and security system installation — are governed by a separate written service agreement. The terms and conditions within those agreements, including pricing, duration, cancellation, and renewal terms, will control in the event of any conflict with these Terms of Service.

7. Alarm Monitoring Services

Alarm monitoring is provided on a subscription basis under a separate monitoring agreement. The following conditions apply to all alarm monitoring clients:

• False alarms: You are responsible for all fines, fees, or penalties imposed by local authorities resulting from false alarm activations at your property.
• Communication lines: Alarm monitoring requires functioning power, internet, or cellular service at your property. BGS Security is not responsible for monitoring failures caused by power outages, internet service disruptions, cellular network outages, or damage to communication infrastructure.
• Response: BGS Security will respond to alarm events in accordance with your monitoring agreement and established protocols. Emergency response (police, fire, EMS) is coordinated through relevant local authorities and is subject to their availability and response times, which are outside our control.

8. Payment

Payment terms for all services are set out in your individual service agreement or invoice. General terms include:

• Invoices are due within the timeframe specified on the invoice or in your service agreement.
• Recurring monitoring fees are due monthly on the date specified in your monitoring agreement.
• Late payments may be subject to a late fee as specified in your service agreement.
• BGS Security reserves the right to suspend services for accounts with overdue balances, following reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

BGS Security will perform its services with professional care and in accordance with industry standards and applicable NJ licensing requirements. However, no security system or service can eliminate all security risks.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BGS Security Division LLC's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

BGS Security is not liable for:

• Losses or damages resulting from acts of God, natural disasters, fires, floods, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
• Losses caused by power failures, internet or cellular network outages, phone line disruptions, or failures of third-party infrastructure.
• Losses resulting from your failure to maintain your security system, respond to alerts, or follow our recommendations.
• Consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages of any kind.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available." BGS Security makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the website's accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

While alarm systems and security services meaningfully reduce risk, BGS Security does not guarantee that a security system will prevent all burglary, intrusion, fire, or other security events. No security system provides absolute protection.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and service descriptions — is the property of BGS Security Division LLC or its content providers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our prior written consent.

12. Third-Party Links

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Monmouth County, New Jersey.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with your applicable service agreement(s) and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BGS Security Division LLC regarding your use of our website and services.
